The Canadian Livestock Transport Certification Program has been developed with the valuable input from a small army of people that are involved in all stages of livestock and poultry transportation. Each species course has required hundreds of hours of input. The goal of all involved was to ensure that the course content, while including the most important aspects of safe transportation and laws and regulations, keeps as the primary goal the wellbeing of the animals in transporters’ care.
It is with gratitude that we acknowledge all of those who have given their time to this project for initial development and to continuous updates and improvement into the future.
